• We confirm the slot and tell you the charge before the visit, not after it.
• A trained collector arrives with a sealed, single-use collection kit.
• The sample is labelled in front of you and carried to the accredited partner lab.
• The lab issues the report. You receive it and you take it to the treating doctor.

If more than one test is written on the same prescription, say so when you book. Where the prescription and the partner lab allow it, a blood test at home and the sugar sample can often be collected in the same visit, which spares the person a second prick.

What to expect on the day of the visit

The visit itself is short and undramatic. Getting the room ready helps more than anything else.
